Return of Reckoning

Hi, I am a big warhammer fan (more of a 40k fan than fantasy but recently got into fantasy more this past year) and I saw several box copies of this game at walmart a few days ago, boxes in terrible condition, still being sold for $40~ even tho the game shut down in 2013.

Googled it when I got home, saw this as the first result, finally registered once the problem of being unable to register was fixed today.

Not sure what to play. I made a sigmar priest but I would also like to play as chaos or orks, what side is more in need of players?

Also, addons, what are necessary addons? The client came with some addons already, a couple of them don't work with the game's version and I don't know what most of them do. I don't want to spend several hours hunting for addons and the addons section on this forum isn't too helpful with this.

Any advice is appeciated, and I look forward to giving this game a shot.

faction population varies from side to side based on time of day, one moment order will be zerging then an hr later it will be destro

irregardless of class or faction 2 addions i can suggest is Buffhead, which displays the duration of a buff on your self/ ally or a debuff duration on an enemy.

Good for healers to know when a target needs to be healed or have debuffs cleansed.

Second is QQuer it auto ques you for scenarios and lets you control which ones you que for etc. Its a QoL addon

I was hoping one side would need more players so it could help me narrow down what I want to play, now I need to decide. Im not a fan of playing multiple characters, I main one character and that's it for the most part.


And I think both those addons come with the client download installed.

Well matey, you can create a crapload of characters on both sides, then decide what you want to play, I guess, thats how the majority of us who play, has chosen. On live I played Order, I have order characters here also, but havent played them since early 2015.

Imao, y newer will play a first character , which you choose, so from start try 2-2 toons. Test many and choose most reliable -y dont need to rush, its still aplha, they say , so you will have your day surely.
Addon Target ring, Swift Assist are good.

I downloaded VinyUI which is pretty nice but I needed to make some changes, removed some addons, replaced Pure and Ameysthst with Healgrid.

I tried to use xHud but it doesn't work. I would perfer a ceternalized clear HUD that shows my health/energy/career resouce as well as buffs and debuffs and all that, while also having something like healgrid that lets me easily monitor and heal teammates and nearby friendly players easily, sadly healgrid only lets me see people I have selected and party members.

Welcome - its really great so see the hard work the team have done to bring this back.

$40 at Walmart recently...oh my word.
