I recently tried to respec my gathering skill using the ".respec gathering" command in the /say chat. However this did not do anything I also tried to do a .gm in order to get a Game Master's help however that command also did nothing.
Help would be loved as soon as possible.

tried it with every combination of capitals and lowercase

Tested .respec gathering. It works as intended.

Not sure why it won't work for you, but I would advise to try again.
