Daily/Weekly Quests and Player Statues

This is inspired from a comment made on the " Five reasons why empty BOs giving rewards is better for ORvR" thread, where Peterthepan3 suggested daily RvR quests.

I would like to expand upon this, because I really like the idea. Daily and weekly quests incentivise people to log on, even just to complete the quests, and are in many MMO games.

Some of my ideas:

Daily quests: refresh at a specific time daily and can only be completed one per day. Collected from the King, or a "Herald". Quest must be completed and rewards collected before the deadline to be eligible to collect a new quest on the new day.

Daily Quest #1: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Take five Battlefield Objectives from the enemy.
Take two keeps from the enemy.
Reward: XP, RP, 1x medallion.

Daily Quest #2: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Kill 150 enemy players (RvR zones only; SCs do not count)
Reward: XP, RP, 1x medallion


You could go a step further and have Weekly Quests, which refresh at a specific time and day each week and can only be completed once per week. Collected from the King, or a "Herald". Quest must be completed and rewards collected before the deadline to be eligible to collect a new quest on the new week.

Weekly Quest #1: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Take ten battlefield objectives from the enemy.
Take four keeps from the enemy.
Participate in the locking of two pairings.
Reward: XP, RP, 5x medallions

Weekly Quest #2: (one quest, which applies to all three pairings)
Kill 1000 enemy players (RvR zones only; SCs do not count)
Reward: XP, RP, 5x medallions


Furthermore, people love to stroke their E-Peen and the player statues on Live were a fantastic incentive to go out and kill as many enemies as possible to let your entire realm know you were a monster. Is this being looked at for the future?

Scenarios need daily/weekly quests too.

At the moment in pugs 95% of the players, including the opponents don't bother with objectives. When they see an opponent they run like lemmings after them.

Capturing the flag, carrying the artifact / salvage part ect. should be rewarded for players actually doing the objectives.

Quite tired of being alone trying to win Scenarios and everytone else just zerging.

Problem is only one person can grab the salvage. Only one can get artifact. So there would have to be systems in place so that those items have an aura that others would have to stay in range of so they get credit (would also be great for salvage to prevent camping the very nearby spawn).

I am all for Daily/Weekly Quests. Can really help encourage RVR. Would imagine it would rely on them instituting some kind of timer for quests.

EDIT:
I would like to see 50 Players Killed while defending keep added to these quests, maybe 100 for weekly.
