Drivers keep crashing

I've been having an issue with my drivers crashing for the past two days. But it only happens if i try and play the game in fullscreen. Most of the time I am fine if I play in windowed with a low resolution but as soon as I get tired of it and try switching to fullscreen my driver will crash and I need to restart my PC. I know its my drivers too because it happens sometimes when I am in windowed mode also. My screen will go black and come back without sound and I get an alert at the bottom of my screen saying that my drivers crashed but repaired itself.

I updated my Nvidia drivers to 365.10, and tried redownloading the game. I'm not sure whats going on since I play other games that are much better looking that WAR. Any info would be appreciated.

I should also note that it only crashes when I actually load into the game, I can stay at the main menu forever and I wont crash.

Does it happen with other games? What is your machine? PC/Mac/Laptop whatever?

I had similair issue and the cause was so stupid it made me feel like an idiot - after moving my pc some cables went a bit loose and all I had to do was to insert them in their places :>

Nope, it only happens in Return to War.

I'm using a Geforce GTX 570 and an Intel i7 2600k

I had the same problem with only one game on my old system. it was actually the case that my graphics card was so dusty and got so hot, that it shutdown itself for a short duration. Nvidia control panel would then tell me something like: the display driver has stopped responding and recovered.
