Return of Reckoning

If I have the original game disks, can I instal that and THEN add the Return of Reckoning files to it and play the game? Having issues DLing the files for the server the way the forums says do it so wanted to know would the disks themselves work?

I wonder if original disks could help code our private servers, those disks could help the devs make the server better possibly

i think there will be no way you need to download all files from us. You can try to install the game from your disks and then overwrite all old files with ours. Never tried this but even if you choose this way you need to download our files.

Maybe we can help you with your download Problem. Can you give us some more Information about your problem. From which mirror you tried it?

Will reinstal the disks, then try to do it all over again. If I still have problems I will post back here and send you a PM letting you know I came back. If I get this working, I have a lot of friends that will follow.

The old disks are no way going to be 1.4.8.

So he will have to DL online.

You used to be able to do, when the patcher was connected to a live updater that would kick into effect if you wanted to log in on the live servers. This luancher doesn't have the luxurious programming of a filechekcer and updater, so you will need the exact base the launcher uses to give up access to the server. Which has to be downloaded as a completed version of the 1.4.8. patched game.
