Return of Reckoning

I was questing for a bit as I just downloaded the game and then did a battleground and got more exp quicker despite losing the bg. Can I just level by pvp and not do any quests?

You can go back and do the PvE quests later at a higher level, or even find specific quests for PvE gear (for better cosmetics).

Quests do not compete with rvr.

- Better gear
- In less time

Quests
- Less xp
- No renown
- Subpar gear
- In more time

In live, you could get xp scrolls (I think) from quests. I do not think that is the case here.

For people like myself on the west coast in the US, nights are murder for RvR. Its few and far between. That's why I quest at night but if I'm on during the day I RvR.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm finding my RR is getting ahead of my level, I don't know if how far ahead your RR can be is different from live. From what I remember on live my RR was usually hitting the cap when levelling through RVR.

Might be useful so that a little bit of PVEing won't hurt you by opening up a gap between level and RR.

Old live system disallowed you from getting a renown rank higher than your career rank. This server uses the later version logic that allowed you to gain a maximum renown rank of twice your career rank.

Thanks, makes a lot of sense. Means doing PVE isn't so counter-productive.

Now I just need to find people to PQ with, hahah
