Return of Reckoning

So, there was some discussion the other day in the advice chat about the effects of using higher level containers for talisman making. According to the wiki only level 200 containers improve overall power by 1, but people in the chat suggested that using better container does increase the chance of critical/special moment. Is this indeed the case? And what are the actual numbers?
