Return of Reckoning

I am aware of topics with this subject however there are not solutions for me to be found there.

I redownloaded WAR. Did not help.
I tried to download Directx9. Did not help, it said I already had the latest version.

Any help?

d3dx9 means directX9 is missing on your computer.
Download DirectX9 from microsoft.you need the right version.
I think there is a link somewhere in the FAQ thread.

restart your pc after the installation.
If it doesn't work, try to download the missing dll like shown in this video

Downloading dll files from the internet is a great way to turn your PC into a member of a botnet, I strongly advise against it. Just download DirectX 9.0c directly from Microsoft.

Thanks for responding.

However as I said in my original post, I already downloaded Directx9 from Microsoft. The installer keeps saying I am already in possession of the newest Directx so I can not download Directx9.

I overlooked the setup in the DirectX9 folder after finally being able to download it.
The installer worked this time and I am able to play the game.
