..I have not missed the awful tab targeting AI haha.
I swear the game trolls on purpose, oh you wanted to select the guy 10 feet from you? Here let me help you, oh...you didn't want the guy 40 feet in their back line? No problem I got it this time, oh...you didn't want the Engineer turret on the other side of the groups backline? Ok ok one more time, oh....you didn't want the WL pet next to you?
I'm trying to kite here man, I don't have time to stop and click on someone heh. WORK WITH ME TAB!

Is your tab key assigned to cycle to next target, or target nearest enemy?

Tab targeting feels differently implemented in RoR than live. On live, I could tab target and find a squishy in back fairly easily but on RoR I can only tab target tanks. The only way to find a squishy through tab targeting is to hope they they overextend or hunt and peck with my cursor.

i found switching tab to nearest enemy while playing a melee character has helped immensely.

The client handles tab targeting, so this is just another example of people misremembering live.

Can't trust Tab targeting all the time. Sometimes it just easier to click your target lol..

no you are right aza, tabbing was awefull in aor, they even needed 2 years after release in rift (same devs as aor) to make it right lol. (That you mentioned its handled via client makes me very very sad btw. ;/
