[DoK] heal spec tanky gear/renown setup

Hi,
I`m new to healing class, was wandering if someone could help me out with getting proper gear setup and point wise spending renown points. I tried to understand theory bhind toughness vs armor, I get it, armor better, but what about jewellery? Seems there are so many options to go, disrupt/dodge, -to be crit, wounds even.
Whats your expierence from battlefield?
Should I use maybe 2 different setups for scenarios (small scale battles) and for warband battles?
Ps. I assume full devastator is the only option here, isnt?

Get stalkers if you haven't got it, devastator is the way to go but takes a while to get. Jewellery wise its up to what you feel suits your playstyle.
My preference is stacking heal crit for ORvR, and reduced crit for SCs.

What Liledys said, get Stalker asap, then work your way to Deva.

As for jewelery, make sure you have at least 80-90 initiative, you might need to go 2xwounds/initiative jewels for that, and the other 2 wilpower/wounds or wounds/toughness if you don't feel tanky enough. Any combination of those options is good.
For RR, once you are level 40, you get healcrit chance (30 pts), and put remaining points in def stats, depending on what you have trouble dealing with: sorcs- deft defender, melee trains- futile strikes or trivial blows. Wounds is also ok.

Different specs for RvR and SC? Meh. Ain't nobody got time for that tbh. DoK is one of the strongest healers in game anyway.
You might have different set of tactics for some situations but that's it (I have like 3 but I end up using the same one cuz lazy -.-).
I think that's it =P

Except for trivial blows not working atm.

If you spec the above mentioned, you ´ll be torn to pieces by every premade that deserves this name.
Better go for toughness / armour talisman wise and deft defender / parry by renown.

Ok , my bad, but it is viable ( if it was working).

Toughness talies on a dok  show me one good DoK/WP that does that and I will give you 100 gold.
If you are getting "torn to pieces" with full armor+deva+guard+second healer then I got bad news for u...

Implying that because you have full armor + deva + guard (lol guard) + second healer

every one else does too

Spec Armor talismans. And Dodge Disrupt for RVRor crit reduction for SC. DoK's don't get the privilage of WP's to be almoast immune to critical hits Due to Kotbs.

And if you dont? You put 40 points in wounds and stay spawn? :D
Also,w hat's funny about having guard?
Btw my DoK is level 29, far from having Stalker (not to mention deva) and I'm usually alone. So yea..

because destro are incompetent and never guard especially in pugs, deva is grindy as **** to get when basically all you have to rely on are the 5 medallion reward quest and lets not count on a second healer
