Return of Reckoning

Hey, I'm Todd aka Kayzur.
I used to play this game back in 2010/11-13, however I was youngish and kinda sucked at the game.
Buzzing to start playing again and was wondering how the Disciples of Khaine and/or Warrior Priests are? I usually play bruiser type classes with self heals (Feral in WoW, Medic in Wildstar and play SoloTop in LoL).
However Ive heard that DoK and WPs arent really a damage or healer class, they kind of float awkwardly in the middle and arent very effective.
HMU with any advice/experience you have!

My advice - Give either class a first-hand try. A lot of people will give you mixed opinions.

Dps dok is very fun and can be effective. Wp not so much.

Think of WP/DoK healers as tanks without shields and damage who can heal. This will be more true when Tier 4 is released on the server.

Read that they get focused down because theyre healers so die a lot, also dont get healed by other healers as... theyre healers themselves I guess? Not really sure haha.

Definitely going to give them both a try, was just wondering if one was better than the other or there were other classes that did the "solo/bruiser" job more effectively.

Marauder and DoK fit that playstyle.

Don't worry about being focused down. Most players in this game will attack the tanks or mdps first. If they try to get to the backline, then they will get sandwiched by rdps and mdps. Positioning is very important on any healer in any game, something just about everyone on this server neglects.

Some of the early levels may be a bit tough to level through because of the lack of heals available... but the class becomes better at level 20, then again at 25, and gets more and more the higher level it goes. Little advice, pre-HoT those you think will be attacked first, ie. tanks or mdps.

Well then, my games just downloaded. Guess I'll just jump into it and make myself a DoK.
