I would love to play WAR again, but I am a bit unsure on 2 things: I do not have a copy of the last game with the patch version: 1.4.8 build 573. So my question is: When I download the game client, is that the version I am getting?

Yes, if you download the client from the website, you will be downloading the required version - 1.4.8r573

Do not use your own copy of the game from before the shutdown.
