Talisman's to use for Shadow Warrior (or equivalent)

Curious what everyone's opinion is on what Talisman's to use for a physical ranged DPS.
Obviously Ballistics Skill is important, but what about other stats such as Weapon Skill?
I have been roaming through the forums from before and there was mention that Weapon Skill did not affect ranged DPS, but it might have been patched?

I read that armor penetration doesn't work for ranged but when there was a discussion recently on the /advice chat seems everyone stacks ballistics on sw till they reach around 900-1000 and then they pack rest into weapon skill.

Weapon Skill affects any skill that does physical damage, including auto attacks. Attacks which do Elemental, Corporeal, or Spirit damage are mitigated by resists instead of armor, so WS is not used for those abilities.
Anyone who says otherwise is wrong, or trolling.

Do you get your parry improved though from WS? ATM it doesn't show on .getstats or ur character screen.

You do get a base amount of parry from Weapon Skill, which is also reduced by the Strength and the level of the enemy that is hitting you. This is never shown on the character screen (and was never shown on live) because it is so variable. I don't know the equations off-hand, but you can find them with a search through the forum or the internet. Look for forum posts made by Londo, or blog posts by Bruglir.

I got my equations from
http://tools.idrinth.de/tank/?
But just wasn't sure if the parry is actually there or not. Thanks for the answer.

Ballistics, ballistics, and more ballistics. Even at 40, all the way up until you get capped. But especially at 32, since you should not need ws at all vs the gear people have on now.

I've inspected JIZ not so far - he is fully with BS.
Sadly, devs closed inspection another players via .getstats, so can't say many about his renown points.

BS / WS at 0.67:0.33 ratio.
