Destro winning as a few wbs/ groups are not blobbing and capping flags. If you spend 10 mins in library summoning the Zerg and then run as a blob you will lose every time.

Having even power levels is called balance. Since it is not even, it is not balanced. Period.

What is "power" for you?

Power in regards of how well they can fulfill their role. In case of a dps the primary factor is how well they are in securing kills or pressuring the enemy. The secondary factor is survivablity and utility.

When you compare Engi to BW then there is no doubt that BW has the much higher killing power due to their mechanic, their magical damage, their debuffs, only one damage stat they have to raise which leaves them more points to spend for survivability and the ability to do damage on the move. Engi falls short in pretty much every aspect. The power gap between these two classes is huge. Same for SW. They can do a short ST bursts but their damage is nowhere near the BW damage.

Just look at the numbers about LOTD I have posted above. The best BWs were securing 5x the kills of the best Engi or SW. Those were ofc premade players but the fact alone that they don't choose to play engi is telling enough.

That's not a me thing, that's a class balance thing.

That's pretty normal and nothing to worry about. Group setup aside some players are better on certain classes. Me for example can't get into SM/BO, while others like those classes.

That's not a me thing, that's a class balance thing.

I already guessed you went the power=damage route.
Some classes have more utility and deal less damage. Some score kills, others help them in doing so. You don't need to be at 1st place in dmg/kills to be useful. SW aoe snare moral e.g. makes sure your victims can't escape in addition to other tools like grp crit buff, while other dps can do their job.
Classes are too complex to simplify a comparison by damage/kills - this is no Ego-Shooter.
What you don't want is stacking supportive classes.

Marauder on live originally had average damage but lots of utility. Players complained until their dmg got buffed. They became the best mdps by far. On this server ppl complain about mara getting several nerfs and have no idea why it was justified.
