Ppl enjoy playing pew-pew rdps instead support classes...its a selfish mentality and nothing related to "balance"...you can see that kind of random-pugs wbs in destro side too.kmark101 wrote: Tue Feb 16, 2021 9:14 pm Today in last fort in 3 order wb there were 4 tanks total combined (4/72 just to avoid any confusion)... but keep telling yourself that order tanks are fine and "more order healing is balancing it out"

Lots of cool stuff with IB but theres also room for a lot moreskylinx wrote: Tue Feb 16, 2021 10:06 pm Give ironbreakers morale pump, maybe it'll help out with the severe population composition problem order have atm

So onwards to buffing the coolest tank on Order, the IB !

First make their m3 shield be partywide and tune the value abit.. (atm its like 7,2k or more iirc....) Also looking at some of their m4's is probably needed, idk how viable some of them are if at all, they last 10 or 9 seconds..

Giving them something like a cooldown remover buff for the next ability for himself and his grudgeguard or party would extend his utility role beyond his current kit by heaps.. Imagine two insta punts, very mvp.

Could also create a tactic that makes most of your core skills in that tree party wide and increase their duration for when you want to kind of bot like the knight to increase it's usefulness in general..

Finally, I think abilities should get additional properties at max grudges for example earthshatter at 100 could be a 2s KD, punt becomes superpunt, grudgeborn fury has increased chance of setting back abilities / interrupting etc. Just brainstorming 'ere

That'd be a sweetass buff

Yea u should. If u don't understand the very "complicated mechanics" behind the objectives on your map, yes you should. This isn't Mortal Kombat.emiliorv wrote: Tue Feb 16, 2021 1:33 pmThat is a problem of the city mechanic itself...make a proposal to remove the pve component from city and make a full deathmatch arena, instead you made the 0'990859803745934851 thread to nerf destro/buff order..
Question:
-Should you lose a SC if you are dominating in kills??
-Should you lose a RVR lock if you are dominating in kills?
just asking...

Re: The elephant in the room
There should be kill x enemy players along with the pve elements in the PQ stage 1 for city, that'd give attackers a few tries to push and if it fails and they die too much they are repelled and stage 1 ends as to not make it a snoozefest that loses its appeal and excitement..amagawd wrote: Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:44 amYea u should. atm you usually play safe, camp mid and zzzz, disregarding pve elements and PQ stage because it matters not ???
Wouldn't mind having something like if you kill x players you get a buff in rvr or something like a tie-breaker along with improved diminishing returns from low supply chains so you cant camp indefinetly in keep under siege.
Kills should definetly matter for RVR progression and cities and scenarios, no question about it..

On live you had to get rvr tactics that gave bonus morale or drained morale for killing certain races etc, it was something like that..
Re: The elephant in the room
This seems to be far away from where the topic started if I'm not mistaken. Started from morale pump/dump abilities and ended in city mechanics and mid snoozefest.nebelwerfer wrote: Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:14 pmThere should be kill x enemy players along with the pve elements in the PQ stage 1 for city, that'd give attackers a few tries to push and if it fails and they die too much they are repelled and stage 1 ends as to not make it a snoozefest that loses its appeal and excitement..amagawd wrote: Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:44 amYea u should. Kills matter in scenarios cuz they award points. Let's not turn City and RVR into scenarios.
Back to the topic, like other ppl said I assume this is as it is due to the lack of other tactics and so on. Devs could tweak it a bit down till the rest is implemented (and if) or also, you could start ignoring the blackorks so they don't get the proc

Kills should be the only thing that matters, not a pve race or ram jumping lol

So best geared team always wins? Where's the fun in that?TreefAM wrote: Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:45 pm Kills should be the only thing that matters, not a pve race or ram jumping lol
Plenty of times a pimp geared WB wiped sieges before they even hit the door. So kills matter already, i don't get u.

they get the block that proccs the morale from guarding so ye..amagawd wrote: Thu Feb 18, 2021 2:41 pm you could start ignoring the blackorks so they don't get the proc![]()
The RVR tactics I'm talking about over is highly relevant though, as it would make morale builds a more viable strat.. But devs would need to unnerf it so you can stack morale damage again..
Maybe add some morale damage shields morales to counter, atm it's kind of a mess where you have super accessible m2 50% dmg reduction for 10 seconds and lower damaage on more general pure dps morale drops so it's hard to kill when you're stacking dps in a classic deathball sortof..
I'd like to see guild standards being usable when mounted, giving morales and whatnot and also using the rvr tactics to really make fights more strategic and interesting giving everyone access to pump / drain by killing /dying
I think CC also needs to be looked at in RVR, 30 sec immunity if not more is kind of silly. and morele cc being breakable etc. Game is worse for it imo, as it's harder to coordinate and apply CC / bombdps efficiently
i might be digressing again..
