I also dont see how 'buff ranged' makes it less 'boring' other then "I play a ranged toon, and thus want buffs"lyncher12 wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:51 pm tl;dr warband players discover the meta thats existed a long time

I too would like some buffs please.
Re: The current meta is making ROR boring
Thats because ORVR is just numbers. Go back a few weeks and it was destro pushing two forts at the same time day after day.VkdswWH wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 12:13 pm Meta is fine now. Just fun to look how Order dominate in rvr/forts and get punch to da face in cities because those rdps army cant fight face to face.![]()
City is about how good of a warband can you build in each realm

Order can build the stronger wbs, they have a smaller pool of viable careers to pick from though.Mordd wrote: Fri Sep 04, 2020 6:28 pmThats because ORVR is just numbers. My suggestion to resolve this is simply open up all the Battlefield Objectives within each city for capture the moment Stage One begins. This would eliminate the standard funnel-fight at mid and force some actual maneuver into the construct. The cannons could be reinforced a bit if deemed necessary, however the primary benefit would be City Fights could and would progress in more varied manner than the current construct allows.

Re: The current meta is making ROR boring
As a Magus i slowly discover the end content and i begin to feel bored.
I think magic range DPS classes in this game are boring. Why? Because they damage nobody. Tanks mitigate /block / disrupt everything, after an 1 on 1 they usually leave the fight with 4/5 of their life. Healer simply kill DPS.
As destro t4 scenarios are a pain in the arse. The reward you get for lost scenarios is a joke. As i said in another threat, the tendency to punish the player who looks after the objectives is just dumb.
RvR has 2 modes: Studying flocking behavior aka roaming around - and that lag fest when u finally reached the enemies fort. Seriously, i gonna make myself a bot pressing my main attack spell 200 times in a row for these funny fortress lords. So i can make myself a cup of coffee in the meantime or else.
I dont want to prentend there are no funny moments. Of course there are, but imho they are to rare.
TL;DR:
I am quite new to the game but i think endgame is a bit the same boring **** everytime and i think at least magic range dps is a bit useless if not stacked and focusing 1 target all the time.
