Re: Shaman builds, RR, etc.

So I'm a wierdo, I think of this game in a different manner then most.

This is opinion, but it is my belief that this game was designed with the intention of racial premades being the focus of the original design. From a designer's perspective this makes a lot of sense due to the tabletop game. In my opinion, you'd have to Gut the game to get rid of this which mythic was slowly doing in live. I also try to figure out 6/12 man builds using nearly pure spec lines, done in a single race.(<----this is pure opinion, I have nothing that backs this, It just seems like this to me.)

Ok So I just wrote a large article on Morale feeds done with bolstering boon tactic for High elves. Found here:
http://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/ ... 1&start=40
Skip to the spoiler on morale boosting tricks. This technique is incredibly powerful and has intense amount of synergy within the HE race.

Today, I started looking at Look at what I did tactic which is in the same location as Bolstering boon tactic on the AM.

This got me thinking on The AP issue's with healing shaman's. Do dps/Da green shaman's have AP issue's? I don't think they do. I think they have usually a AP abundance due to running around constantly to re-position. I was actually wasting AP to make better use of my mechanic for instant casting of damage for bursting as a dps shaman.

What if the AP issue's on healing shaman's are due to more inter class-dependence then we thought?

There is MASSIVE greenskin synergy between running a dps shaman and a healing shaman together. You get 2 sticky feetz one of which is max debuffing for full elemental resistance which increases a dps shaman's damage. A da green/gork shaman can off spec for look at what I did tactic and AP feed other classes pretty easily and does so while kiting.

If your running 6 ish shaman's in a 12 man you can AP feed 240 action points to 1 target or spread it out if needed and only takes 1 sec... These AP feeds are not tied to the group either. This can all be done while kiting...

Has anyone tried running a healing shaman with a dps shaman using the AP feeding trick?

Other AP feeds greenskins can do to help out the healing shaman.
BO's have a general unique ability called Get em for 20% additional AP regen for 15 sec's
Squig herder's have a morale 1 soothin mushroom wrap which reduces 50% of ap cost for the group for 10 sec's

Just stuff to think on...

Those builds aren't possible at the current r/rr cap.

What are your HPs at?
Mine are a little over 4k with full duelist, but that seems a little too low to me.
Maybe because duelist is a dps set? :P
The stats are actually the same, only difference is intel/spell crit.
My HP just seem so unrealistically low...

Looks amazing.

Damage still sucks though. I can crit for about 1.2k (If I'm lucky) But a BW will crit for twice that.
We have a ton of DoT and self healing through our damage. If we hit as hard as BWs did it would be a bit overpowered.

Shaman is considerably worse. In large scale fights the dmg output is low and slow. Magus offers rift/kd and SH has decent single target burst. At the 6v6 level shaman healer isnt even good enough, let alone shaman dps. At small scale (like 1v1, 2v2, 3v3) than shaman can be tough to catch and kill, and has the time to let the dmg dots tick away. However if you come up against a healer they should be able to easily out heal your dmg.

In other words it is pretty much useless.
