You're not holding people to a higher standart of behavior by ruining the game for innocents.
If someone keeps sending you mean tells, use the ignore button.

EDIT: Or maybe you're just bad healer, that's why people complain?

One person abuses the healer, but the healer is blamed for refusing to heal that person, instead of that person being blamed for not being able to keep their mouth shut.

You don't just get to ignore the chain of causality. If someone decides to start something with their healer, THEY are at fault. Simple as that.

Even if this would be the case complaining because someone struggles with the game and doesn't perform to meet the expectations isn't a reason to insult that person.

Imagine a situation where John finds this server and creates a healer. He doesn't know the game, tries his best but healing is hard and he doesn't do all that good. You would say such person has no right to play the healer? You would decline such person a right to play the game as he wishes and eventually practice to become good at healing? Apart from that you would insult that person for underperforming?

I lack words to comment what you write.

Exactly. It's a universal rule - Don't piss off healers, or they will just watch you die.

It is somewhat of a slippery slope. Words can be avoided (/ignore).

Blatantly not healing a member of an instanced pvp match could entirely be the difference between the team winning and losing when both teams are evenly balanced.

I know where you are coming from Az, but sometime you cut your nose to spite your face... and the two wrongs don't make it right. In the end, 10 other people in that instanced scenario now suffer a defeat because two had issue.

Anyways, devil's advocate on this. It's a slippery slope.

I made a suggestion a while ago: everyone on your ignore list is excluded from any group effects you cast.

Healing is hard? You must be joking. Healing is actually very easy if you have at least a half of brain.

50k on level 2, no gear, no hots, no aoe, just flash of chaos. I don't main a healer and don't use healing addons.
Yet some "healers" somehow manage to make like 15-20k healing on 32 lvl. Or even 5-10k in some cases.
The myth about healing being hard was created by such healers.

This discussion is pointless since many people participating in it completely disregard the fact of hate speech, insults and generally being a douche and focuses on refusing to heal such person.

Rethink it all taking in count a wider spectrum- would you like to play on a realm where everyone insults each other, after getting a kill you receive a whisper "f**ing lucky"/"come 1 on 1 noob"/"you think you good coz' you have healer" and so on.

We are the ones who create that community, if everyone would behave with dignity and treating others with respect community would be really great, and such discussion wouldn't even take place. At the moment you can encounter some spoiled apples and if you let them spread the hatred that will do no good to anyone.

You prefer to stay passive in such situation? That's fine, but at least don't defend such people.

@Nishka

well looks like u were standing whole sc in spawn and flash healing that BO. Or not? Healing can be overwhelming for new players or for "never played a healer" players. Showing off some numbers from the point of view of WAR veteran who got years of experience and had dozens of toons means and proves nothing.
