Yea I defo feel magus demo spec has a lot more survivability (and damage) than tinkerer engi.

I'll go with tinkerer because it looks super fun. But do you actually focus on the shotgun shots? Or keep using gunblast?

Blunderbuss is spammable ( or the corporeal dmg ability if u have WW sm). I use firebomb over GB for tinkerer.
Rr into toughness is okay imo. If you wanna go magnet then RD2 is a must (maybe CW1). Toughness in duelist gear is good too.
On my magus I get 700+ toughness/int for rift and duel spec. Thats with demo tactic tho. Engi can't get as much toughness but can use AI for lovely armor buff.

Re: [Engineer] The Workshop (builds, guides, and discussion)
Rd takes precedence imo simply because your M2 will be UF , and you absolutely can't afford to be punted/CC'd while setting up a rift. Dodge/disrupt taken care of by htl

resolute defence 2 and cleansing wind 1...
Well since engies are quite non needed for any group based action beside being pullbots for orvr i put cw and disrupt/dodge over RD. when soloing CW and some dodge will help much more than anything else.
For magnet botting RD is really must have, CW also, dodge/disrupt is more situational

So what would you say is the best ST spec for engies atm? I am having a hard time choosing between Hollow-Points, Coordinated Fire, Fightin' Chance, Hand-Crafted Scope, Masterful Aim and Tracer rounds.
