Make sure you run launcher as administrator.

Check that the firewall allows ror.exe and war.exe access and add them to the exclusion list on your anti virus.

Good day,

I have followed the installation instructions and have gotten to the point where the launcher connect button greys out and nothing happens. I have repeatedly closed, opened as admin, and clicked connect to no success. I have repeatedly gone into the WAR folder and unchecked read-only and unblock, yet they immediately revert to being checked even after clicking "apply". I have started the installation process over and followed all steps as instructed, again. Still getting grey connect. I have also tried rebuilding performance counters, which cmd says was successful, but no change in the problem. I have tried using the mini-launcher and I get "12:33:26 Launcher established the connection; have fun playing!" but no application launched. I have followed this person's video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bn_75A_-RYg) to the letter and still getting the same greyed connect and still getting the un-"checkable" read-only box. When in launcher I type in my login information, hit connect, and the button stays grey and there is still the blinking line following my password. I have tried the steps to fix the read-only issue outlined in the comments here (http://superuser.com/questions/866120/c ... indows-8-1) to no success. I have also tried using the attrib command prompt route, also to no success.
