If you're getting this line of code in your error log:

Code: Select all

at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.GetStringTable(Boolean isHelp)
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.get_NameTable()
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounterLib.get_CategoryTable()
You need to rebuild performance counters.

How to manually rebuild performance counters:

1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

3. It will take a few seconds to perform the command.

Performance counters should be rebuilt. Try loading the game, again.

It is in the same folder as everything else.

Edit:

So, turns out I have a "RoR launcher" inside of the "Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning" folder inside of my "WarhammerOnlineTrial" folder and I just needed to click on that one and it works, lol. Thanks for all the help, just me making errors I guess.
I am having the same problem as you had except I don't have an extra launcher inside of a "WarhammerOnlineTrial"... how did you fix this?? Been sitting here trying to figure this out for hours and I am just confused..

Error starting: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\Users\Scott\Downloads\WAR.exe'.
File name: 'C:\Users\Scott\Downloads\WAR.exe'

at RoRLauncher.Hash.GetMd5HashFromFile(String fileName)
at RoRLauncher.Client.patchExe()

This is the error I am receiving. I unchecked read only recursively as suggested. Still isn't working for me. Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi.. You're my only hope

You gotta put the RoR launcher inside the game folder.

thats what it says whenever i try to log on with the launcher. When i try and open the age of reckoning client, it says that it cannot be opened as archive. i cant find the war.exe anywhere.

I have it in there, but the problem is that when I go into properties, the read-only just rechecks itself after I uncheck it, therefore not allowing me to connect when in the launcher. The launcher itself IS in the Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning file.

Unfortunately, it says the board attachment quota has been reached
