Hey, i play SW and i think this nerf is very bad.
Like its not enough, you already moved Shadow String from 5 points (on linve) to 9 points. No.

I think this change is unjustified and needs to be reversed!

When Aquilon first posted in this thread I thought he was being a clever troll.

Turns out he's just a bad troll.

1. Sorc snare requires:
a) the target to be cursed (an extra GCD used for Chillwind)
b) a two second stationery cast (so by the time you have finished casting it, you're in trouble)

2. BW snare requires:
a) speccing points up the tree
b) instant-cast, and the initial tick's snare lasts... 3 seconds? (i think?)

PS - I'd trade a 2 second cast snare (which requires the target to be cursed) for a self-cleanse or an armour buff any day of the week. Or maybe it'd be nice if Hand of Ruin snared the target too.

But you can continue to soldier forward with your blinders on, because you're entitled to put your fingers in your ears crying LALALALALALA I CANT HEAR YOU LALALALALA.

Great change to Fester. Hopefully everyone understands that this is meant to test the changes today. ;) Some of them might stay, some might change even further.

i do think that magus/engi need to have a better stag than chosen/kobs, and also chosen/kobs can pull it out better than those so even give a 4 sec stag to ch/kobs would make irrelevant the change done to engi /magus.
Even increase those value to give chosen/kobs a better stag can only results again in op stag that get chained to pull which is one of the lot reasons stag was nerfed to the ground. I would be cautious with stag change to kobs/chosen.

Anyway i recived a FA for 4.4k and got oneshoot so that skill is really far from being useless.
That are 2.2 crit k damage under guard with a 150 feet range sob, it's still good as build and resistences debuff can lower further the the mitigation, basically FA + debuff get reduces in between 10-20% on most classes atm.

I'm so sorry for dissapointing you.
I have personal experience in 1vs1 situation, when this 2 sec cast snare was effectivly used against me and I lost.
I have balls to admit it. Was Sorc vs WL (me), also this snare helps a big deal in a group fights.
On my BW I would like to have a snare in any spec, than have no snare at all.

More comparison arguments? Yawn.

Sorc damage should be nerfed. Period.

Glad to see the back of the total resistance ignore I mean it will still be pretty high with all the engies, knights, sm and bw debuffing resistance but at least I have some mitigation now. Randomly being killed by some stupidly over sized crit was getting old.

also Artic Blast has 10secs CD while Pyroclastic Surge has 0 secs CD. you dont have any idea about sorc/bw really,but well to talk there is cheap.

When you Apply this Ability on your self, when you are healed, Half of the heal on the Tool tip spreads to your teammates 25 Feet away. Giving them 25% chance of lashing Elemental damage back to the attacker, imo it would Mirror The Engi Class as the healing aspect. Since the Engineer can heal more than a AM very often in certain cases, the magus can have some healing aspect for his/her group in close quarter Engagements.

Just curious when the OP Squig Herder is going to get nerfed. Destro cried about the SW Fester Bomb and were heard. Order screams to nerf the SH but nothing is done.
Sorry to be blunt and undiplomatic. All your patch did was bring more OP to the destro side of ranged classes.
-The SH still does double damage because Squig Damage is continuous and lethal. Add all the SH's DoTs and the SH can go have a cup of coffee and get an auto kill.
-The SH still has over a 110 foot range compared with the 85 foot range of the SW. Yes, the SW can get additional range but they have to spec for it, and only goes to a 100 foot.
- The SH has all of its ranged attacks and ranged bonuses on ONE skill bar. An SW needs to do flip between 2 stances to get all of its ranged in and has to spec according to the stance while the SH specs just one.

I keep reading about Class Balance.
You keep saying this is class balance.
But I do not think it means what you think it means.

Can you please stop paying attention to destro cry babies?

(Yes thoroughly pissed off that this patch went through)
