Improving the 2H blackguard playstyle

The downside is having a gimped 2h spec? That doesn't even make sense.

Yes indeed...and that's why the 2h spec needs a KD...so it can be near comparable to using a shield!

so every other tank has some form of kb and a KD but BG cant because they have a superpunt that more or less needs max hate?

Even Ib has a KD + a pretty dang decent punt along with a pretty good AoE snare while in the 2h path

The suggestion between op and penril in this thread would make the kd require hate + parry + a tactic slot for a kd

thats still a lot and i wish it didnt require parry but that would more than be fair for having such an "op punt"
