no spirit resist AFAIK. (which kinda favors destro as sorc does spirituel damage but bw does elemental ^^)

there is a workaround without implementing new stuff: Allow better talismans and wounds, toughness, weaponskill and resistance talismans. I know Aza doesnt like talismans though :)

Destro also has issues with the lack of spirit res and the hordes of AMs. Biggest problem are the rings that completely lack spirit res.

Tbh, i think everyone will be fine with implenting r31 aslong there will also be some new gear added like rvr sets wich you can buy with medailons or whatever.
Atm like people say the gear doesnt scale good with the lvl cap so some class hit way harder than they should.
Annyway i think upping lvl cap can only be positive aslong it gets balanced with new gear aswell.

I'm fine with level 31, but in order for it to be fun and "healthy", gear needs evolution, be it in the form of rvr sets or tweaked gear (I prefer the first one)

But what about the fresh t2 players? We'll have big power gaps in each tier. I know that there's the option of increasing the t1 cap, but it might hurt the newcomers.

They'll get used to it and if the gear is easy to obtain like from vendors and isn't tied to rng drops then it won't be an issue

Exactly. Some T2 fresh players will see the pvp sets and (if they cost medallions) they will start doing Orvr, which translates to - more population in oRvR = more action = less keep swapping and Wc afking = more xp and renown for newcomers.

It's not hard to level anyways :)

An increase in level cap will bring up more issues not solve them, coming into t2 at rank 12 is tough enough as is with bw/sorc rotations hitting for 3k in a gcd and more to the point shatter limbs and group cleanse is something that needs to be looked at and tweaked.
Even tho changing/balancing skills was only going to take place with tier 4 i believe, with the majority of us experienced in playing t1-t4 on live servers, that some stuff does need tweaking before tier4.
