Something that might be an oversight, but will have additional serious balance effect is that the morale drain is on Warlord gear, which lacks wounds for serious wb play... the only class that can overcome this is already the undisputed king of all tanks and the game is the Black Orks, with their 160 wounds racial tactic. I think this will widen the gap.
Morale drain isnt even on the same set for all tanks. Its offensive Sov for BO (arguably the worst of the 3 sets statwise)

I disagree whit that, it the end of the day, all of us come here to play, to have fun. And some of us dont find any fun whit doing pve(dungeons), and here for playing player versus player.
Every MMO where u pay or its a "free" to play one, is forcing u to do some grindings, what u probably aint enjoy but probably you will throw your time in to it, to dont have disadvantages against others. I dont think its a good direction to take. And dont see the reason why to make it a must do it thing.
so they invented moba game. for your 'only' pvp.
You should check the genre of game that you're playing.

Someone of the dev can explain in more exhaustive way the hotfix? generally speaking the damage now should be higher? o lower?

It the attacker had a damage bonus, like for example the Divine Fury tactic (+25% damage), that would boost the damage on the player you were hitting, but not on the tank guarding that player.
Before fix, damage on target was boosted by 25%, but not on the tank guarding that player:
After fix, damage boosted by 25% on both, guard damage is actually 50% of the damage of the damage taken by target:
But the issue was the same in reverse for damage reducers, like -30% damage from Challenge.
For absorbs it also subtracted the absorbed damage from the attack before applying increasing/reducing multipliers to the damage.

Crit damage is after absorbs. If all damage is absorbed you can't get a crit.

You can get crit and you mitigate before you absorb, which was the other way around before.
