sigh just looking though this list of ppl with more then 1k gold makes me sad if we hadnt enough to do with coding the server looks like we need to code less and babysit the server more cause some ppl just going nuts

I think when T2 is released a gold wipe is necessary.

It's just more fun with equal starting conditions for everyone.

If I may, I was in a similar situation with my own project some time ago, ask yourself just one question.

1) Do I want to make my dream true?
OR
2) Do I want to make things perfect?

I don't mind at all because right now the system is clearly imbalanced due a lot of people farming while the game is still in ALPHA!!!!

Why would those ppl spend so much time farming for a alpha game? This makes no sense at all!

Anyway the only problem that I have ATM is those that hike the prices of in demand items by controlling the AH...

I am sure the moderators/devs could intervene in some cases, positively..

I don't think a 100% gold wipe is in order, though... I think the issues really began long ago while there was not too much rules in place (such as macro-farming)...

not the end of the world if either situation unfolds...

In my opinion the dev's should eliminate farming. The reason for that is if you wanna farm go play Archeage,Everquest or really any asian based mmo.

Here's my opinion on how the dev's could do it:

1: Let us get gold from sc's.
2: Let us buy the Gear from vendors and put a Renown lvl requirement on them.

Done

You really should only pve because of the lore in this game not because you get gear from it.

I cant imagine the coding would be easy on that, but it would be a step in the right direction on end game goals. That and maybe a few end tier pqs.

The pve honestly does tell a pretty cool story if you want to get all rp and nerdy.

Wanna control AH inflation. Just cap gold.

An indirect way to have gold with sc is PvP quests, but they are not working this days

@ Dev : I guess when you will have found how to fix this kind of exploit, and make the gold reset, you won't warn us ? (to avoid some problems IG)

Set a gold limit. No player can have more than 3-5k gold. Still a huge load of gold yet it wouldn't pay off anymore to set up those abnormal prizes in AH.
All the righteous farmers still have their gold, the exploiters don't have that much of an advantage.
