You don't need your M1 under gard and proper grp at all.
Yes, yes you do: try surviving a kill attempt without having access to M1.

It is used by all of the WH/WEs in 6v6 when their life depends upon it; it definitely sees a lot more play than the WE M3.
Not only this, most fights don't last long enough for M3 to be ready. :P

Furthermore, the talk was about M1 in general, because some people seem to pick damage M1, which is so non-sense.
Before M1 in general it was about a specific M1. Whether or not you think there is ever a reason to use an offensive M1, what would be the situation that you ever use Dance of Doom over Sever Nerve? When you chimed in with why would anyone use either, you deflected from the point of how truly bad Dance of Doom is.

Yes the value of the defensive M1 increases with the level of competition rises and decreases when the level of competition falls. If you are in a fight with 0 chance of dying, an offensive M1 is infinitely better.

Now that situation may not matter to you and big picture it probably shouldn't matter that much. But WEs still have a damage morale that is never better than their other damage morale in the same level.

So it's a morale that has no conceivable use whatsoever. The fact that a defensive morale is superior in situations that matter doesnt change that.

The way it should work is like a slayer M1. Untouchable is a better effect than confusing movements, so the trade off is a lower duration.

Direct Damage is superior to both dots and channels with equal damage. That dance of doom should do a decent amount more damage than Sever Nerve for it to even exist. Regardless of whether or not damage M1s are very good.
