Side question: Is pet pull supposed to be able to work from a greater height so long as it's in range (i.e. being able to pull people from off that ledge outside in Reikland Factory)?

But mate, that is not the situation you put up, let me quote you again:

I agree with you on the mid air jumps, i dont agree on the Keep walls, pick lock exists and if your keeps are getting terrorized by Wls jumping on them, well, you have bigger problems than that.

That is also for magus/engii pull. But those bugs are trough due to z-axis issue. Fix z-axis, and those are gone.

Well aza said use common sense when thinking about such things. Common sense dictates that it works correctly as the ability is supposed to be similar to Mara's pull but just with a pet. 8-)

Ok, ignore the RP stagger. The SW himself could use his 4 second Silence. But let's ignore that one too... a KotBS/IB AoE snaring destro + WL setup is pretty common. Check KotBS threads and the best ones all suggest to slot Slice Through. This lets the WL Pounce to enemy backline and apply pressure for a few seconds. Worst case scenario for him, destro manages to defend their backline but he manages to escape thanks to Charge or Pounce (his tanks will be able to at least keep one target perma-snared). As soon as Destro pushes back, he can try it again.

Anyway, this point is moot now (for me). After all the discussions had in this thread, i agree that a CD is not needed IF WL is not allowed to pounce mid-air anymore.

@OP

Pounce needs 5 sec CD becasue as a Shaman there is no counterplay to it. All u can do is detaunt+AP leech, but u still die in 3 sec due to the AA speed (im looking at u really badly designed 5-piece Duelist set bonus). As a shaman u see the WL comin -> u press AP leech -> WL is on top of u with pet -> u press AOE detaunt -> u get KD -> death in 3sec -> GG, no skill, much fun, super lame.

If u Eeeek, WL just jumps back mid air and u live for one more GCD. Sound fair.

Bad WL is soloable but mostly its just insta death. Great idea to have KD which makes u just watch and do nothing. Its the worst CC in game as there is no counter (except random parry). All other CCs gives u atleast something to do or are broke by dmg.

Why is destro so obsessed with kn*ght when BO would easily be the best tank in the game if it had a super punt.

pounce need to be killed as escape tool, not offensive one, the cd must be between 5-9 sc it would be overkilling otherwise.
