10% crit is usefull but when sov arrieve and you can reach only by gear 30+ crit it become less mandatory and ppl could drop it. 30 crit from stats is equal to 40 crit total which is quite enough

Feelz no pain is pretty good moral and esp now when the lack of AP diminish the use of FM as healing tool /still pretty good to survive and avoid dying/ feelz no pain become quite powerfull moral. Add to that that the dmg reduction stack with dmg red from tactics and skills and it can make your group really tough to be killed. It is pretty handy at orvr.

on live i wouldnt take cleansing winds but with the changes to how dots are working at ROR i think it is really mandatory. Sadly these changes are making shamans even worse healing wise and currently it seems almost worthless to use shaman for competative playstyle

I got my intelligence to 904 and still no sign of a soft cap.
Damage still sucks though. I can crit for about 1.2k (If I'm lucky) But a BW will crit for twice that.

925 is the softcap.
A dps healer will always lack the utillilty of the dps classes when it comes to dmg.
If they did the same amount of dmg while having acess to selfheals to the extent healer classes have it wouldn't be ballanced.. And everyone would play a hybrid class.
This is were they have failed a bit with AM's, The class simply destroys Engineers in single target dmg and is very close to do the same aginast SW's, Shaman dps is probobly the more ballanced one out of AM/Sham.

That's essentially what divine fury attempts to do- it's just that the dmg bonus isn't high enough to compete. I'd be okay with them if they gimped healing even more if it meant that I could play a spell casting gobbo. Pretty sure a lot wouldn't. Heck, I'd be glad if they gave us a spammable healing debuff like the AMs.

If they get more dmg then lifetaps just becomes stronger wich is a problem to. Id personally would like to see healing build would be sorted first as its the main role for Shamans.

Where would you put your renown points as a heal shaman?

That's what makes balancing this career so hard...I still have fun with mine, but the low numbers are kind of a let down.
Right now, Da Waaagh! Is Coming is crit-ing for about 1k- on all targets- tanks get hit for about 600. It's fun to spam, but it has a very low range.

Another question...
What are your HPs at?
Mine are a little over 4k with full duelist, but that seems a little too low to me.

Maybe because duelist is a dps set? :P

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to hear anyones opinion that has played shamon as mainly dps? How are they in a 1v1 situation. I love grouping but occasionally I like to get out there and 1v1 people. Thanks!
