Dude read his posts again, he already explained that he tried to make a change and someone else higher in the developer hierarchy turned him down.
I wouldn't say someone turned me down - that sounds like there's a degree of internal dissent or dictatorial rule going on, and there's not. It was a blind vote, and it was very close, but ultimately the chosen route was to reduce the price of the weapons drastically, and the sets not at all.

No, I agree wholeheartedly with the sentiment. But I will also say that our formulas for determining xp/renown per kill are different for live - you earn more on RoR than you did there. This results in a faster trip from 1/1 to 35/40, and therefore less time to earn emblems for gear in each tier. Rather than increasing the emblems given from scenarios or decreasing the prices of sets and weapons, I would like to correct those formulas so the exp/renown gain is closer to what it should be. Of course, that's going to be an unpopular sentiment, so ideally I would partner it with a feature to boost alts in some way.

I'll gladly take any data you want to provide. Ideally, just a snapshot at each level of how many emblems you have when you reach that point, for any alts you have - whether you've leveled them solely through scenarios or not. I can go back to the team and use this thread to try to campaign for lowered prices (since changing the xp/renown rates is less likely to pass), and I'll need a baseline figure to shoot for.

This should never be decided by a vote but maybe thats just me.

1. I don't have the pull to make a unilateral decision like that, and I was the one pushing the point. I do what I can.
2. That sounds fine.
