chain pouncing however can be used as to let pounce be used as an escape tool which tbt is not the role of the ability

Chain pouncing would no longer occur - it would have a 10 second cooldown,.

Chain rooting would never occur - pounce would have a 10 second cooldown and grant an immovable immunity to target.

can we at least wait until T4 is implemented as well as a host of other things, making changes to characters before this seems hasty.

why wait for what could potentially be a year, or 2 or perhaps even more we its not we dont know for a large part how thing will turn out

are wls also willing to give up there 100% kb immunity as well?

I think the idea behind the new balance forum is great. It will be really difficult to moderate, but at least it's an attempt to get a handle on all these suggested changes.

Can't these balance discussions wait until then?

My sides go into orbit every time I see a destro ask for a pounce redesign, nerf, suggestion. As someone said, go play one and see how you fair they aren't that tough and die rather easily. The main reason we see WL's 'spamming pounce' is because how the server tracks player position. Pounce will never put you where the target is, but where the target was. This means that you are always out of range to apply damage and thus pounce again. Now lets say you pounce then charge, well a ranged snare is going to nullify the charge and we are back to square one. Moving on sure they have front loaded DPS but once it's gone its gone and you won't be getting a kill so please unless you play the class currently don't give us your hyperbole, go role one and see for yourself.

Now I'm going to leave and not really see how my post plays out because these forums are the most toxic I've ever had the shitty pleasure of being a part of.

Okay.

Proposed change of pounce. It goes back to the original 55 ap it ysed to cost. And is an aoe agaiin. It also now does spirit damage and incurs a 3 sec snare to primary target.

In fact... we could just fix leonine frenzy and ppl might play the wl another way.

I get what you are saying, but I think at least waiting for T4 for big changes, is a smart move. By T4 at least everyone will have all their base tactics, morales, and abilities. Yes, they will get more Mastery points at higher RR, sure. But I honestly don't see that as enough justification for waiting with making changes at that point.

Of course, there's gonna be people wanting that. That's pretty much a given. The question is, if they can give a good reason for waiting even longer.
