I mean i browse and lurk on the forums a lot but i cant be expected to read through every thread

thankfully the balance forums address this
I understand. Which is why i mentioned more than once that it was only my opinion. Devs might think completely different than me on this issue, so i would not give much importance to what i said if i were you.

@Vigfuss: You are welcome. I am more than happy to help RoR in any way i can.

Like aza said, you have to distinguish between changes that have a huge impact on actually used skills/tactics and between skills that do not even have a space on the players hotbars in the first place. That especially AM is lackluster in some of parts of his Kit and supposed job was already talked about a _year_ ago. This is neither anything gamebreaking nor could anyone come up with a single argument against such a change. Not back then and i dont see anyone in the future bringing up a valid reason for why it should be redone to being a static cast

is it possible for devs to change the loading screen tips' text? Cos that could be very good way to alarm and inform ppl about some important game related stuff

btw i cant understand why ppl are so afraid of some game changes. Lets devs test at real environment /aka ror/ and if the change is over buff just discard it. Yes, it is so easy. Discuss on forums -> implement if u like it on paper and if at real it is too much just roll back. Where is the problem?

That was already answered in great detail. You may have missed it.

i honestly doubt that our coffee shop operators, supermarket employees and what not ppl inside this community do for live, are able to design a game as good as the mythic staff
Hopefully that clears up the problem for you.

I've suggested this before but cannot be done until we master .myp extraction/editing/restructuring.

the thing then to consider is making a launcher message that invites people to come over and look at balance discussions

This is a terrible idea.

People who want to participate, will. Calling for people opinions ingame to flood the forums with half based thoughts is never a good idea.

It will make moderation a pain, for the short while until it evens out. But the new board will be moderated in such a way that the half-assed thoughts and arguments are cut out completely, and people who cannot abide by the rules of the debate will be banned from participating.

But it's come to my attention recently that there is a large contingent of people who don't participate on the forums because they feel it's "toxic." These are far less toxic boards than other games I've seen - even less toxic than the official forums were, but to each their own. For these players, they are likely not only unaware that the balance form exists, but also unaware that it will be moderated in such a way that it might alleviate their complaints. We will make an effort to reach out to them, at least initially.

We have over 2,000 players, and only about 100 active posters. Everyone deserves a chance to be brought back into the fold, but the same rules on the new forum will apply to everyone.

Toxic is an internet buzzword for "i dont like it but i have to find a way to name it so everyone else doesnt like it either"

Every forum is toxic, youtube is toxic, twitch chat is toxic, reddit is toxic, email messages are toxic, facebook is toxic etc

But what they mean is they dont like it not being an echochamber and dont want their feelings hurt.
