yeah.....no

If that was the case WAAAGH! would stack with chosen debuff and stuff

only seems to work for SM

Isn't H's Blade more efficient for P of Khaine DPS SM instead of N's Blade? Since H's Blade is a resist debuff and can stack with the spirit debuff. I know N's Blade is a great utility, but I'm talking raw damage.
At L32 Khaine SM can only put 1pt into Hoeth so Nature's Blade is going to be well buffed up compared to Heaven's. I think NB could steal 120 stat points while HB will debuff resists by around 157. Perhaps someone confirm this in game?

Assuming these stats: tooltip damage: 200, Weapon DSP;52.0, SM Str: 700, Target Toughness: 200. Target's Spirit Resist after WoH debuff: 20%.

With neither HB or NB attack would hit for 362.
With NB we could steal 120 STR. Attack would hit for: 381
We could additionally also steal 120 TOU. Attack would hit for: 408.

157 HB resist debuff at 32 should mitigate a further ~10% spirit in which case the attack would hit for around 407, so equivalent to the STR + TOU example.

With NB you could rely on personal buffs but you cannot rely on debuffs to hit the target you are attacking as it's randomly steals from anyone in your vicinity, which is it's real weakness. However, it will also buff your chance not to be parried (STR), it could reduce your opponent's chance to parry (WS) as well as the juicy initiative debuff and increased chance to crit. With more pts in Hoeth however the HB debuff is going to get better and better (especially as WoH is also Hoeth).

Hope I got the maths right. Correct me if you spot an error.

To conclude, I clearly have nothing better to be doing this Saturday afternoon, don't tell the wife! :)

That was the logic that I was given when I was leveling one up. I hadn't realised that was not the case on other classes.

Are you sure they stack? I tested it on some PVE mobs and they don't seem to.

It used to stack in AOR. Someone would need to test it here.

A reason you might not notice it on pve mobs is that one debuff might totally debuff the mobs resistances. So the second would make no difference. You could try to test for that by working out the mob's mitigation from toughness and seeing if that is the total mitigation.

WoH and Heaves blade stack according o Az

the are the exceptions to the whole not stacking with global thing

dont think RoRs pve is good tbt to test things considering its pretty wonky

At level 40, you would normally use Nature's Blade in groups and while fighting groups because of its group buff / aoe debuff nature. There were some exceptions to this, for example, if you were in a scen where the best dps was a BW, you would use HB while assisting on the BW's target.

If you were solo, your choice of debuff would depend on how you were specced. It should be the same at level 32.

PS. The choice of blade enchantment would also depend on if there was a kotbs in your group.

I didnt test it in RoR, but it stacked in live for sure.

That's the reason why our spirit dmg hit so hard.

Sure. I read it that the guy was asking which blade would improve SM damage in isolation and irrespective of group benefits.
