Anyone who said that might have been speaking in haste, or too broadly. It is highly likely that we will leave out the timed/OP talismans and the pocket items, probably even the potions. But I see no reason to leave out Tyrant gear, or some Sandstorm items (perhaps with some slight adjustments). AFAIK, we have not discussed internally any outright prohibitions on "all" LotD items.

What i read is that there will be no lotd at all. If that RoR team member spoke incorrectly, thats great.

A few items where ok like the absorbs (never understood why there was no ranged absorb) but setra was absolute bull crap and so where the bugged colo absorbs

I agree. The game just wouldnt be the same w/o tovl

The LotD was interesting only because LotD items (weapon, jewelry sets, talis, pokets), obviously.
Remove them - no needs in the LotD area at all.

Not agree Lotd was a beautiful area and some fun doing Tomb for Ankh and purple weapons + pocket fight against colossus Vulture Lord Tomb (better if there were no bug).
I will be really enjoyed if Lotd will come back in the future !
