Because moving Mutation and melee weapon intrinsic procs from the ranged attack was an intentional change on my part. I at no point ever stated or will state that this is in accordance with what Mythic wanted. Whereas you, on the other hand, are attempting to claim that something that is totally imbalanced (and isn't in accordance with the tooltip) is correct and functioning as intended.
There's no hypocrisy and nothing to defend. Sure, you can say that I'm wrong to do that (and perhaps the community will overrule me) but posting that in no way changes the fact that you're talking crap.
For those who are wondering: when implementing the Mutation procs I was shown a video of a Marauder killing a SW with only the mutation and weapon procs coming off a thrown axe. This, combined with the complete lack of sense in a thrown axe inflicting the effect obviously associated with a strike from the arm (or the blade holding the enchantment) is why Marauder and melee procs check for a melee attack. Otherwise, I'd like my Blade Enchantments to proc from a thrown axe too, please.

Almost every single one of your posts is either poor quality, unsupported opinions or aggressive, and many of them are trolling or ad hominem. Yes, continually claiming that everyone who doesn't support your position is defending their overpowered Order class IS trolling. Once you decide to conduct yourself in that manner, you forfeit the protection of the rules. If you would prefer that I enforce the rules to the letter, and that any post violating the strict letter of the forum rules is simply moderated before we get to this stage, then we can do that too, but I would rather not kill the discussion, such as it is, by taking such heavy-handed actions. So, what we get instead is something of a free for all.

I think it would be a good thing for the devs to keep a complete list of things that are different than live where the community can see it. If the ability is changed to better match the tooltip that should be listed as well. It doesn't matter what the tooltip says, different is different.
This will make things much easier for reporting bugs on github. DoK AoE cleanse is a prime example.

Agree. Maybe make a sticky on the forums of all changes done to the game such as KotBS/Chosen Auras, SM/BO Knockdown, Choppa Knockdown, etc. This will help the newbie players understand that this game will have changes if they are absolutely needed (like early T2 where Choppas and Slayers got their HealD early).

But there is. You decided to nerf Marauder based on a video of "1v1". Throw axe proc was never a problem. If we were to nerf classes based on 1v1 video, why didn't you hit the king of all 1v1's, AM? Oh, Chizune plays that, the guy who doesn't want Arch Mage DoT's mirrored. Arch Mage DoT's, detaunts and kills their targets. There's many videos of Arch Mage vs X number of players killing all of them, but will you nerf? I didn't think so.
Not to mention we're not in T4.

^ That's a very interesting question. Is there a chance that AM will be hit with a nerf bat? What about the other "king of the hill" classes like KOTBS?

Mutation procs working off throw axe was silly, especially if you combine it with dok covenants and everything else.

I thought that that was the basis for this mara mutation change
At the end of the day silver if you dont like the balances changes the devs are making then make real constructive posts with legitimate arguments, not this fail "no hope for destro, nerfed to oblivion" nonsense your posting on every thread
or you can quite simply
leave
and go play on another warhammer private server or start your own, then you can have it have all the nonsensical balance changes you want

On a side note: Id personally GLADLY give you my third DoT if i could have Ere we Go from shamy. Also id appreciate the Run! tactic or the DSU HoT instead of FE. But hey, cant have everything right? And lets not even talk about the M4 , should we? :>
