SW get good aoe damage at 40 lvl - lilit shot and with high crit value spec/gear.

We have only 32 lvl right now.

If I switch from assault to skirmish "for 1 s"(Which is a minimum of 5) just for a ranged knockdown (2 seconds, single target) I lose half my armor and all the strength/weaponskill bonuses of assault stance, not to mention I lose access to useful abilities no matter which stance I switch from (Melee disarm, melee KD on Assault spec, flame arrow, FA etc for 5 seconds)
That's 5 seconds of taking an additional 25-30% physical damage to knockdown one target for two seconds.

Stop complaining about SW they're by far the most fragile class to balance and all the negative changes have made it an incredibly unattractive class to play. There's still only one really viable mastery tree and only one reason to take one in a party over an engineer (Shadow Sting) and that's 10 points deep in skirmish.

I don't have anything against eye shot but your stagger reasoning is indeed staggering.

Why not? The heal debuff is really nice.

Only for single target. WB vs WB need big AOE like slayer or BW, some time ENG for magnet.

Right its not as if sw's and sh's use to top damage and db's in city fights using only shoot thru ya and lileaths arrow.

You make the assumption that ppl don't know what they are talking about then you tell us that eye shot is a 2 sec kd ? compare it to stagger ? and say the only reason to pick a sw instead of an engi is shadow sting ? If you are going to comment pls have something good to say.

what if i told you that "l2p issue" reflects the truth every single time i used it? there is a difference between a srs post of mine and me talking to keyturning shaman who cries about literally all abilities he ever died to - in that case Eye Shot - if you payed attention to what i did there you can insert "l2p issue" here and it will fit perfect.

on a side note, i've never seen you posting something useful. usually you come up with flamewar baits or with suggestions after dying in PvP (both are results of yourself being salty). the term l2p issue reflects perfect that the failure sits infront of the pc and is not caused by an actual imbalance, even tho it's quite troll my posts never follow the alogrithm yours do:

Lol like that changes the fact that it's still not as OP as some desdrones claim.
You can't just post a reaction image and assume it makes any point at all.

Or you could be like morf and pretend that the admittedly least relevant point made in my argument is the only one while spouting unintended irony and vulgarity into the conversation. (And by the way morf, not only are we not on city siege yet but Lileath's Arrow isn't even in the game so don't pretend it's relevant to this conversation)

It requires a stance swap, has limited range without speccing deep into skirmish and not as deadly as one might think considering 3 seconds of SW DD equates to ~2200 damage on a soft target assuming M2 isn't up which is easily surpassed by BW and Sorc burst.


If you want to claim any ability SW has is OP because of Shadow Sting's lack of a cooldown then that's a decent place to start, maybe SS needs to be put under the microscope, but SW has never been OP because of their CC options (Which are incredibly limited) so tackling their only root/knockdown that doesn't require 13 points in the least useful tree doesn't seem to be the right direction to go.

(Whirling pin, 40% snare) (Takedown 40% snare) (Opportunistic Strike 4s disarm) (Eye shot 3s KD)

This is a classic case of "I got killed once, this ability must be changed!"

SW indeed have a decent aoe with 100 ft range at this lvl, not that hard to find guys.

Still overall have to say due to 10 pts Shadow Sting SW is one of the weaker classes atm.

When im in a group with a mara or wl and they ensare/fof someoen from 65ft away to guarantee a kill it has nothing to do with me dying, same with rkd when im playing order and see a sw(or bw for that matter) rkd someone and then that player gets run over without being able to react its because im dying ? not at all.

As for a keyboardturning shaman..well im succesful at it and not only on my shaman but every class i play, could i do better with a mouse and more so a gaming mouse, most likely but i really dont care because i still have fun, i will leave the pro setups to nerds like yourself who pride yourself on being a pro gamer

on a side not to your side note, my opinions and suggestions in 90% of cases stay away from the public forum because we have ppl like yourself who want to go out there way to belittle ppl and look down on everyone from your high horse.

Like i said before if 1 person has a problem with someone you could say its just that 1 person but when numerous ppl are tired of someones attitude its worth taking a look at yourself, if you act like a c#%t ppl will treat you like a c#%t.
