it was pretty good defence at stage2, timer was around 29m when stage 3 start.
i guess lord was almost full power. it took -1 dmg from snb WP.
more wounds, less toughness might help dps healers on lord.
although my snb wp has mediocre str, never met -1 dmg on lord b4.
ps. after more testing, i met chosen who took -1 dmg too.
maybe it's my problem.
What's your Str+Melee Power?

These changes are not going to be good because destro tanks can do too much damage while mitigating way too much damage. While order has /lol damage knights, while BO's / Chosen / BG do way more damage than melee and take almost NO damage. Tanks need lower resist soft caps, just as magic users need different armor soft caps.

These changes are not going to be good because destro tanks can do too much damage while mitigating way too much damage. While order has /lol damage knights, while BO's / Chosen / BG do way more damage than melee and take almost NO damage. Tanks need lower resist soft caps, just as magic users need different armor soft caps.
Any tank on destro or order that is going with a defensive spec is not going to do much damage. There is no way that any tank can do as much dps as a melee dps class even if they go full blown dps. And any tank that goes full blown dps will not be able to preform their tank duties successfully, thus getting the worst of both worlds. There are also already so many active and passive abilities that significantly reduce resists so that would lead to further balance problems down the road.

Thats exactly why 75% toughness cap was introduced in the first place
It was to fix the 1 dmg instances when your mainstat is very low compared to target's toughness

I suspect Toughness to act as a flat damage reduction (ie. 1k T is flat out -200 dmg on all hits from start), instead of Toughness being tied to Main Stat Contribution (ie. 500 offensive stat with a 0.8x ratio should means only 400 Toughness is useful at most).
I suspect it was part of the issue before, and why Toughness have been capped to 75% efficiency.
Now my DoTs are hitting tanks for 1 dmg (Fort Lord too) with magical dmg and 750 offensive stat... Something is wrong here.

Destro tanks can still max dps while being super tanky. Chosen can have 250 bonus damage while 5k armor 500ish toughness 75% parry etc etc etc. They can hit 700/ 800 while only being hit for 100-200 crits and self heal a **** ton. We just entered tankhammer is all. Everyone is going to do full retard specs.

So basically this means Toughness applies to total damage, not just Mainstat contribution?
Then the removal of 75% cap doesn't quite make sense, it was introduced to prevent high Toughness vs low Mainstat situations where attack's damage gets reduced to miniscule values as Toguhness easts away the ability's base damage.
btw when is "psm" modifier applied? Pretty sure wep dps, mainstats and toughness should all be affected by it, otherwise toughness will be too strong vs weak attacks (like 1s tick dots) and not good vs strong attacks (long cast spells)

Explain this one please? 250 dps bonus is 1050 strength +200 melee power
75% parry shouldn't be possible either, 25% from Suppression, 18% from RR, you'd need ~43% from just gear bonuses

You should post combat logs then, even if they taunt and you don’t detaunt they won’t be hitting you for that much if they haven’t went full blown deeps. And if they did go full blown dps they won’t have 5k armor and 500 toughness. Take a destro tank to a order fort and see how long they last under the new dot changes/ combat formula.

Welcome to being a Chosen. It is possible. Also, str is almost 1200 with 300 melee power with pot. They have crit builds with like almost 10k wounds and 45% crit. Also with the 299 bonus damage build with 1200 str and 300 melee they have 54% armor pen.
