Well it is then bought with cheaters gold more or less my point

Simple grind math.

Peter Pro is an average player, killing 3 mobs a minute, making about 4 silver in drops (2,7 for 3 kills and 1,3 in grey/green loot he sells). Let's say he is able to play 50 minutes an hour, so he makes 2 gold in 1 hour.
In 8 hours of playing in Mom's basement he makes 16 golds a day.

After playing for 2 weeks he has 224 gold.

There are hundreds Peter Pros playing this game. And all of them (gasp) do... farm... non-stop... every... day.

So out of the 150 or so playing we have 1-5% (and even fewer engies) that could buy that helmet after lets say 4 months farm costing several 1000s gold.

Ps Those 1-5% prolly should be checked carefully for botting

The whole farming thing just started wrong. I don't know who began with the grinding but on retail I only farmed sometimes to get some ingredients for crafting.
@topic I would be lol sad about a gold wipe because the fact that I'm a lazy ass bastard and got big luck by selling some stuff and now be a proud owner of 200g
I damn hate farming, its the most boring thing in WAR and will ever be. The loot system really need to be done and gear must be gained through RvR. Only then the game will succeed greatfully. It was a big mistake at the beginning to let the people start grinding. But now its too late. Overgeared players are already playing punchingball with lowies in the SCs

The game is on for more than half of the year as well, steadily gaining numbers. There are lot more than 150 players playing every day, some of them log in, some of them log off so that total online <> number of players playing every day.

But I've got your point. Everyone is hacker, cheater, exploiter and has too much money, there is absolutely no way they could have gained it legally. Good luck with such mentality.

unfortunately the exploits are rather exploited then to be told to us in full detail so we can fix them


so when we might be ready to release t2 you might have to pay 10k gold for an item witch is ofc very bad
so a gold reset is likely to happen as we have to do something about it
so if your worried to loose gold just stop farming it and enjoy pvp sc or lvl another toon thats what this game is about not farming gold like a maniac

we could just ban those ppl its easy to find them when 2 lvl 1-2 chars got the most gold in the game means everyone of those chars got 2 times the gold of the 3 riches player well you know they exploited ^^

theres 79 chars that have over 1k gold
5 chars got more then 10k gold

why should we lets those ppl destroy the economy of the server?

Problem is the dods that have spread gold out on several "pony" accounts and friends plus already bought out anything item wise that holds value in T2+

If these asshole exploiters/crybabies going to quit the game because they lost all their illgained gold, they don't need to be in this growing RVR community. In ALPHA no less.

GTFO you don't need all that **** gold just to make the rest of us suffer for your selfish reasons. Thank you Azarael and nalgol for at least providing voice and awareness that the situation is being looked at, and won't go on unnoticed. It can't. We're not even RR80+/T4.

Keep up all your wonderful, great work in trying to bring this fun game back for us. I wish I could support you guys more if I could, w/o legal tangibilities getting in the way (coughGW/EAcough).
