Personally I like having the ability to talk with a destruction player now and then. There are a few which I chat with quite often. I have found it does enhance the rivalry aspect of the game.

I like the aggression, but I absolutely detest when my immersion is broken by speaks of game mechanics, damages, acronyms and memes. Seriously guys, stay in character

Even though I get quite a lot unpleasent tells I don't feel this community is anywhere near 'toxic'. Most of the guys/girls turn out to be decent people once you start talking with them. They just snapped for second. Happens to the best of us.
