Was fun. turnout was about as low as I expected. And EU came and kicked all the NA guilds butt's :^)

The basis of EU and NA groups is quite different. Always was, even on Live. TW kinda got our **** pushed in tonight. Was still fun though. I got a few theory-crafting ideas for how to deal with it, but hands-down that Fusion group is fecking tough. Super tough to deal with the kiting sorc and super range magus. You guys/gals are good.

I still think meeting in a zone is preferable. We had a lot of downtime, plus I know I would of benefitted from watching some other groups fight. But maybe that's the point? If you want to learn our tactics, fight us:P

Thanks for showing up everyone. The 6man scene isn't exactly alive and kickin'... But it's a start.

Yea I want to tank everyone who put the effort in to come out. There were clean standouts from EU. I know the time schedule was rough, but for a short notice event I was happy to have 5 groups show up. What did people think of the time zone choice?

I agree Dabbart, next time open fields, spectator sport always helps with getting people excited. The short notice was call for scenarios and agreed the long down time was rough. I will try and make it to Dres's event next time too.

Looking forward to more people coming next Friday the 14th.

Gerv, i'm gonna try and make a complete outline of stuff n' stuff before the sunday 7pm-gmt event, please do throw any all observations and conclusions at meh before the event.

Q. i forget, did you hold it in scs or rvr?

I would highly recommend open field fights because the down time between scenarios for some groups was a huge factor in them leaving early.

This has the added benefit of spectators which allows others to watch and can promote other players bringing groups to the following events.

Make sure there is a ready check and a count down and make sure you are very clear on pre fight moral building/mechanic building by getting into combat/spaming abilities before the fight has begun so everyone is clear what is happening.

Also dont expect to start on time, nothing ever does.

Yeah i was gonna wait till you said something before i openly mocked using ScS for this, worth trying though. :lol:

Well make it clear if it is ok for BW / Sorc to build mechanic pre fight and secondly if your fine with players getting into combat via throw axe or auto attack pre fight to build morals. In close fights morals will decide kills.

So that no one feels salty.

I would say "Before the fight begins build your mechanics but not your moral."

As far as mechanics go it really is about focus & skill anyway, better players are just quicker/evadier.

I think we agree open field too, Vengum crashed (and got quitter) blocking queueing. Right after Gru mentioned when were able to queue again but no-one was queueing CW then. But well done on the fights

Generally in the past if there were spectators watching they held a distance and moved back if the fight spilled towards them (all auras off, pets dropped etc)

If a smartass decided to join the fight (the combatants would stop) and/or the spectators would kill the person jumping in
