I think you overlook the word utillity here. Dmg can be utillity aswell.
Ofc ID is supergood. but it only last for 10 secs, and got 1min CD. Is it worth running a tactic for it. Sure. It's a great panic button. But it isn't always needed. Sometimes you wish you had more dmg in your group coz the ones your're facing is supertanky. 2handed Chosen provide some extra burst with high crit chance and undefendble magic dmg attacks. And that is sometimes the utillity you need.

I don't know, I feel a tank that goes 2 handed, lacks TB in t4 and tries to bring a bit more assist damage is a pretty good target can't really count the number of tanks I've shredded for trying this both here and on live.

2h Bg is a far better melee train assist tank

And Bo has far higher damage output

Ok, first of all, BO don't have far better dmg output then any other tank. This is a rumour thats been goin around since way back, It's simply not true. BO hits against armor. I don't need say anything else.

Distracting Bellow is not a good Morale, it probobly hit on averege 2 players and doesn't last very long.

Chosen brings good dmg mitigration even in 2hander spec with Crippling Strikes. They don't hit against armor. They got attacks that can't be defended aganst wich are garanteed CS procs if they crit.

BG being a better melee assist tank is very subjetive. BG is better in certain groupsetups. Chosen is better in others. BO in others. It's all about comp.

An order premade who always had ran with IB+KOTBS tested SM+KOTBS and they got much better win ratio with it. SM doesn't bring much utillity in form of buffs etz, what they bring is the utillity of dmg that doesn't hit against armor.

A tank with 2hander doesn't have to spec for glasscannon, this is what moast 2hander tanks do wrong. The reason you use a 2hander is 1: An abillity requires it 2: It adds a little bit extra dmg. If you can't keep guard up 100% of the time in your 2hander spec you shouldn't play it. Coz that means your group comp is wrong.

I'll be honest, probably gonna stick with Chosen no matter what, but Black Guards look kinda cool too >.>

I have few options in mind, but I don't know which one is to go:
- "Boundless" axe(along with "of the Eternal") seems to have awful stats.
- PvP one costs like 100k Medallions and I still need to finish my duelist set.
- I have heard there is a nice 2h quest reward around lvl35, but I have no idea which quest it is.
- T3 influence wep has nice stats, but kind of low Dps-value.

...juicy 4k crits....
1) You should be hitting squishies. You have a good armor debuff - and a weapon skill buff - to help you with this
2) The only tank with a crit damage tactic
3) BO does - by far - the best burst DPS on priority targets (aka targets you should be focusing)

The epic quest in tabala has a 2h weapon that is 68 dps and 60 str its a pretty good option imho

also as peter said BO has the best spike in the game because of SYG along with 3 hard hitting ablities in THC, DYG and SYF

68?! I thought they were 63 DPS... I have the Tala epic quest weapon. Lvl 27 blue and I coulda sworn it was only 63 DPS. Its slightly less than the lvl 35 blue weapons (are they called Eternal on Destro side too?) but Eternal has no slots, this sword gets 2 slots and looks awesome!
