Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
Leading shots gives fifteen oercent to the healers and melee later in game. Thats fun.

Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
but we need to l2p cos fest arrow + bw st bomb perma crit is not really somethign, camon ltp cleanse all these dots from the healing AM that are only there to shield the bw ones while no one can look to block that fest arrow 1897132491 range that is coming at you to do like 5k istant damage.Joshwa70 wrote:Leading shots gives fifteen oercent to the healers and melee later in game. really is not so hard the conseguence is just you get 1 shoot with out being able do nothing but i'm sure you can fast ress and continue to fight.
well sc will eventually end 500 to something for us but we really didn't wipe you so.

It's really annoyng being able to do nothing while enemy premade just can push with no fear and you can't keep up the pressure.
Not really 1 order is asking for balance their op things every one just try to keep the status quo, as destru will forever get farm in sc by the always 2 premades.
This crit things is so serious that to exploit it more i saw even swap IB with SM just to use their spammable add proc when crit.
You can think i am bias but my combat log don't lie .....
So we swapped to order. Again no challenge.
So if order is so freaking op like you claim it to be, give us some op order groups and we gladly log onto destru.
It's just a learn2play issue, your premade can't keep up the pressure cause you have fail cc (like stagger) your healers are too squishy and your dps deal no dmg/assist like crap.
-why i take stagger? maybe cos on corrup path there is nothing to boost party set up, we dont have a 10% crit chance for dps/heal
...... we have a wounds debuff + stag on discord and only a 3 sec kd on corrupt, since bg kd 5 sec the best it's take wounds + stagger + resistence aura cos it buff chosen damage and i can help in assist better than a kobs.
-our healers are too squigshy cos obviusly you crit too much ( and your pet with an add on pop 3skills + auto attack all togheter), our doks dont crit.... and so no absorb like your Wp and you can just push cos your wp crit heals make you unkillable.
your logic = perfect logic!!!

Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
Tesq, he even said you can make ANY order group you think that is OP. And they will still beat you with their Destros. Get it?
Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
get it i want "they" tell me which of our groups set up we should use to beat them (which one is our best set up and why), i have no really lv 26 char on order anyway.noisestorm wrote:Tesq, he even said you can make ANY order group you think that is OP. IF IT'S l2p problem tell me where we are wrong what counter x and y ; not that you can beat me when you what where you want......
i'm still waiting......but no one will answer this question i wanna bet and that's why there is no answer.
Mine wanted to be a costructive discussion, just to see ppl reaction, not like i asked for ista nerf all order side. instead i get as reply:
l2p, eat ****, we beat you when you want on which side you want cuz you are a bad player etc....
sy but i need to got o bed no and what bitterness for these ppl really.

Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
Pic of the Dok speaks volumes about your lack of understanding of the game.
If you open that character window I could point out 4 things wrong with your set up in less then 2 seconds.
But sense all I have to go off of is the screen shot let's start there.
First you have 3490 hp, if you were a wp that means you effectively have 2400 hp.
Second I'm going to assume by the amount of mitigation you have the base amount of armor, likely you aren't running armor talis. Meaning after an armor debuff you are a clothie.
Third you are running solo no tanks. No tanks means no guard, big hurtin inc
4th. I'm looking at you tactics. Icons indicate disc and 10% inc healing?
I run disc. But I have 430 toughness and 2300 armor. I guess you need that 10% incoming healing more then your group needs those 50 ap procs from your healing.
Maybe when people tell you learn to play, maybe you should actually question what you are doing, how you have Built your char, how you play your char. The gear you use.

Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
All the talk of personal/group skill levels misses the basic idea of what balance is. Now, I am not trying to defend Tesq in any way (I disagree with him heavily, as you can see earlier in the thread), but the whole "X 6 man can beat Y 6 man" stuff is completely irrelevant. Balance only matters when we are considering two groups of equal skill level (or as close as humanely possible).
For instance, imagine you could clone yourself, and your friends, and play against yourself. This i show you should be thinking about balance. Obviously, a group with a higher skill level, better communication, better strategy, etc.. will defeat other groups regardless of composition or balance (to a degree, there are some ludicrous comps that just won't work). But that isn't a balance discussion, and we all know the balance in this game isn't so atrocious that you can just faceroll vastly more skilled players because you picked the "OP comp".
The e-peening really has nothing to do with balance, as when talking about balance in pvp based videogames, you should begin with the assumption that you are talking about equally skilled opponents.
Now that being said, Noisestorm is absolutely right in his assertions that neither faction is inherently "vastly" better than other (the balance isn't that poor), and he is also correct in that a lot of people fail to see the bigger pictures due to their biased anecdotal viewpoints. When your frame of reference is small, and your analytical skills are weak, then you really are looking at balance from such a small viewpoint that you will clearly not know what you are talking about.
In particular this game is balanced on a variety of mediums, and all of these mediums are inter-connected to such a degree that the entire picture needs to be analyzed properly to come to any sort of serious conclusions. It isn't just Order vs Destro, or just direct mirrors, or just archetypes, etc.. Everything is connected in what one would call a "metagame".
Also, to note for many people who like to just call things a "L2P" issue, underpowered doesn't neccessarily mean useless or unviable, and overpowered doesn't neccesarily mean broken. Just because something "can" work (espescially when a significant skill gap is considered) doesn't make it optimal or balanced in any way.

Re: [Split] Marauder discussion
I thoroughly believe that the reason Pounce mirror desires exist and have existed since, beta? Is likely due to simply how noticeable the ability is. A spammable ability that sends you flying around the battlefield grabs everyones attention, unlike a few extra seconds on a kd or something of that nature.noisestorm wrote:And there i had hoped this topic died down already, guess people love to phantasize ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Why cant you just accept that Destro has no pounce at all? Order also has no 5sec KD or op DoK m2 or whatever blabla. Your minds are all in so small boxes its astonishing.
I sincerely doubt any amount of logic or faction vs faction analysis will ever stop people from wanting pounce mirrored, just due to basic human psychology.

We could teach you the basics, true. But would you become a real competition?Tesq wrote:get it i want "they" tell me which of our groups set up we should use to beat them (which one is our best set up and why), i have no really lv 26 char on order anyway.noisestorm wrote:Tesq, he even said you can make ANY order group you think that is OP. Playing chosen with stagger is obviously not the end of the world but it tells us a lot about you.
Judging from the way you write I am sure you are familiar with the term "stara bieda", well I would advice you to not hold onto whatever ideas you have at the moment, step back , and see the bigger picture instead of being fatalistic.
Talk to your healer, dps and other tanks, those who want to progress.
Find synergies, optimize your ui, assist, talk about builds/comps/rotations. That is basically all we do to be "skilled".
Not teaching you how to play but how to l2p in a good way. We were all kind of noobish at the start.
