First time I've been called mediocre in a long long time when it comes to WE but on live wb had a icd on procs so you would get 1 proc people gcd. On ror it fires every hit so on a opener 2 auto attacks and a ability would use 3 procs. For the time being it is fine now considering what you give up to get it. However, when t4 rolls out in its current state its prob too strong.

Now my wb hits for in the 300-400 range on live I saw it hit upwards of 600. That is a ton of burst and the we already bursts harder then both the choppa and mara. As far as people saying wb doesnt scale thats half right. It doesnt scale with str but it does with % increases so flanking taste of blood tovl 5 piece infernal gift and the magus dot all increases wb dmg.

Take This info as you choose but what do I know I was to big a newb to run a elite ui.

4, if you use HRT or Puncture.

how witchbrew behaved on live : IcD just the same as GcD but able to scale with % dmg modifiers

how witchbrew behaves on RoR: no icd ( like all proccs makeing them really strong) but not scaleing with % modifiers either.

409 tooltipp with 15 points on lvl 32.
434 tooltipp with 13 points on lvl 40.
445 tooltipp with 13 points on lvl 40/80.
453 tooltipp with 15 points on lvl 40
464 tooltipp with 15 points on lvl 40/80.

let's take the 445 which is what you will have with 40/80 and calculate what you said.

15% flanking: 66,75
15% ToB: 66,75
5% from Glyph set: 22,25 ( a thing which we will probably see in 2 years here)

ends up with your 600,75.

divided by guard / detaunt it's 300,375 pre mitigation

i assume your target had 0 resistance, no guard and no group buffs.

almost everyone had mitigation cap of 40% on live so 300-40%=180.

even if that would trigger 4 times in one gcd with the rng on the AA, it would result in 720 dmg against ppl with 8-9k health and group heals healing for over 1k, not even considering all the hots and heal procs. and all that is on a 1 minute cooldown.

how can that be too strong, when you have classes like the marauder which hits with every ability for more than 720 through guard in lategame considering we won't see TB while ignoring literally EVERY defense the enemy has, and all that on a medium armor class.

yep, we do have more burst for a good reason which is called being squishy and having the shittiest disengage mechanics in the game cause we have to sacrifice a slot. we have no melee snare, we have no srs disengage unless we slot Swift Pursuit and we have **** sustain if you compare it to choppa / mrd. we have no possibility to be invulnerable, which every guarded medium armor dps will be within a proper group and our life is based of high risk high reward. thanks to that i don't think WB or the WE will be gamebreaking at any point of the game unless they nerf slayer / choppa / mrd / wl to death.

edit: and now let's all be friends, help the guy to find the spec he likes and stop the unnecessary WB discussion.

I mained a witch hunter on live to rr100. I also mained a witch elf on live to rr100 (although to be fair i inherited the witch elf when it was rr80+ as I did not want to take a fresh toon to rr100 again after doing the wh). Nydig also mained a we to rr90+.

We both ran wb/blb.

With that said, im not trying to provocate an unnecessary nerf. I'm just stating the facts of wb here vs. live and why it would be a better spec at 18 points than previously discussed under the live server assumptions.

Do you realize that you are explaining to nydig how a witch elf plays when all he did was predominantly play witch elf (both on live and here)?

a lot of people played predominantly 1 class on live and came back here but does that also mean Tesq is automatically a good chosen and has knowledge about balance and the game in general for example?
