with shield your not going to take as much dmg from guarding furthermore its not hard at all to constantly get runefang procs with parry with a guard with SnB

With the release of T3 and the level cap being raised to 31, are 2H tanks going to become a more viable option now? or are they still the same as when they were capped at 26/40? Which ones benefit the most or show the most promise to be viable options with the new level cap as it is now?

2h tanks; mainly blorc, and chosen are strong now that they have access to both their 13 point damage abilities and crit tactics in their dps trees

so yeah their strong-er now, but viable? Well their about as "viable" as dps tanks have always been

I always facepalm when I see dps tanks with 2handers at sieges. Standing in a shield wall... Catching every shattered shadow with their faces... and happily spreading the damage 20ft around.

The same you can say about DPS-healers: strong but viable?

Sure viable if that player are happy with his DPS-nonDPS class ;) :D

Nope 2h still sucks compared to SnB (T1 > T4)

(Exception When you need an ability that has a 2h req)
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

I know this isn'T unanimous, but general consensus on the issue is tanks are better off as SnB, and 2H are more for show then actual application.

Is there really nothing in this game for me? Seems like if I want to play some sort of 2H warrior type I'm just SOL.
I really think whoever designed this game really dropped the ball. Like it's warhammer for Christmas sake and you are telling me that there is no class to be a big hulking death dealer.
With regards to dps classes, Choppa,Slayer aND White lion seem to be my only choice. I remember feeling like a paper bag and just being a walk back to the fight to die instantly simulator. It was a long time ago, am I misremembering?

I'd recommend you go Black Ork. In this tier, you have access to tree hit combo - that coupled with crit tactic can result in very nice damage.

With any MDPS you will die unless assisted/guarded. Get a guard as any of those classes, and some dedicated healers, and go to town (WL is very tough when guarded)

tanks with 2handers are viable in small-scale engagements. Like scenes.
