Considering 1v1 tournament-- WIn Big , or Lose big ?

Way too much to lose not enough to gain...and I don't like the idea of playing with no UI.

Will enjoy the spectacle though. This will all be streamed right?

A 1v1 tournament is a great idea that would probably get a lot of people signing up to it. Pity you've added these overly harsh stipulations to what could be a great event.

Why don't just a 5 rr penalty?
if you loose devs will throw you down by 5 rr, the winner gets 10 rr jump !

So you represent the staff here with that statement I guess...

OP had a crazy and perhaps nice idea to spice things up, its a ranked hardcore tournament, just the price / rewards must be addressed to make it real. Player deletion do not involve staff at all..the rest of ideas perhaps do.

Diablo got its hardcore mode and was well beloved since Diablo 1
