Also its not gonna change anything, people with several geared toons are just going to switch to those.

Expect to face "premades" in event scs on the weekend, expect people to play with their friends/guild members in an MMO.
Do not punish people who play together in an MMO. What would be reasonable to suggest is to implement a better match making, now that would be a FAIR point to make.

A point which I have made on multiple occasions over time and have discussed ad infinitum on both Realm Watch and Tothmonra's RoR podcast. And my own Twitch Stream.

As has also been stated on multiple occasions on multiple formats, if you or anyone else has a desire to discuss this or any other RoR related topic, then step-up and join the podcast one week. The idea was some effort to alleviate the problem of BIS premades spamming the SC all weekend long. Grovord raised the issue of the match-making system earlier and I agree with him.

This is highly hard to manage. Constantly facing pre-made group is difficult, especially for those of us in T4.

At the moment I write this there is a pre-made running (or spamming, I should say) the Weekend Warfront Scenario even though all of its individual members have long since completed the event requirements.

The suggestion I offered some time ago was to simply code a block which, after an individual character completed the requirements for that particular scenario event, they can no longer que for that scenario.

That´s a really bad idea. Many people also play for renown or simply because they like playing their BIS chars in the event sc where your chance to face and fight other premades is higher.

Which can be done in any scenario, the RVR bonus is across any scenario, not limited to the week end event. That's only to complete the the rewards.

Oh, from what you've written I understood that you want WWarfront to be only a part of Discordant which I find unnecessary and punishing to people who run premades with guild/friends over the weekend.

However if WW maps were a part of Discordant (like this week's Nordenwatch) and counted towards event tasks... Having other scenarios in rotation would prevent farming to some extent (as you'd still have to join other scenarios / suffer 10 minutes debuff.. Maybe even 15 mins) and give a chance to finish the event when premades are farming hard.

On the other hand I can see how powers that be would not be happy with such solution - hence unpopular opinion.

Unless silently changed the renown bonus is only for the event SC. Game wide renown bonus are pretty rare.

There were no patch notes for this weekend but e.g. in previous patch notes you can read:

"This weekend Talabec Massacre will be the weekend warfront from 12:00 on Friday to 12:00 on Monday Altdorf time. You get +50% XP and Renown in the Talabec Dam scenario, and extra rewards from completing the event tasks."

For this reason people spam the event SC and not much else. When you want to avoid most premades, queue DS and other non-event SC.
You want to get the "shiny" event rewards? Put in the effort - if not it's not like you miss something critical if you skip it.

if you want to be competitive in ROR, you have to work. pretty simple.

p.S. just another friendly reminder that scenario is only game mode that gives you access to ALL the BIS gear. you can't even get r200 box for talis/apothecary through pve/rvr. why is that so? if currency was re-worked so that "everyone could play any mode they want and have access to all gear", then i think it's only fair that r200 containers should be available to pve/rvr players as well. or are scenario players most important in ROR?
