Anyone concerned with price increase or conversion losses - relax, play one evening, look how much and how fast are you making now and enjoy the game

Not sure if anyone replied, didn't see it - but you need to complete a full set to get the Tome Unlock for it, mixing sets wont give the unlock.Napis wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 10:07 amJust out of interest.. Do I need to acquire full set or can I mix and match for example Braggart and Decimator in order to unlock Obliterator?I. Buying higher tiers:
To unlock buying a higher tier of armor sets, you need to first acquire at least one of the sets in the previous tier. For example, to buy Obliterator armor, you must first get either the Braggart set or the Decimator set. Then the Obliterator set will allow you to get the Duelist and Devastator sets and so on.
The gain stands seperate from the relative prices between different gear sets and also potions. Especially the price of pots compared to the price of gear is complete and utterly imbalanced. The team also didn't think about the psychology of "wasting" crests to get gear you don't want and will not use, that you could have used to obtain the higher tier sets that you wish to be saving for. It also forces players to, for example, go full conqueror or full dominator where they probably would have wanted a mix. The increase in difficulty of obtaining Genesis and Subjegator makes zero sense whatsoever. I thought these changes were there to help new players, but it was made so much harder to gear your characters now.Gravord wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 5:08 pm Anyone concerned with price increase or conversion losses - relax, play one evening, look how much and how fast are you making now and enjoy the game![]()
and this is bad because i play a class where mixing sets is way more productive. For the rest very welcome change. no more bags full of different currencies which can be very confusing for newcomers at times.ekalime wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 5:37 pmNot sure if anyone replied, didn't see it - but you need to complete a full set to get the Tome Unlock for it, mixing sets wont give the unlock.Napis wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 10:07 amJust out of interest.. Now you don't have to worry about forts ever again to get your invader gear...jshort wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 4:51 pm Before patch you need about 16 fort wins to buy the invader chest (no bags counted) now you need 32, t4 sc win still gives you 6 medals but rr61 weapon sc cost now 1000 war crests >> nice 70% price increase (not calculated with the increased prices for rr45 weapons etc)
this is ridiculous
Genesis crest is being dropped by any level character, which means lowbie char can already prepare quite a lot of them on his way to 40zumos2 wrote: Wed Mar 09, 2022 5:39 pmThe gain stands seperate from the relative prices between different gear sets and also potions. And yes, kills do give a lot of crests. But that doesn't really help people leveling and gearing new characters. This system does allow boosting, which I thought the team was always against. IMO this change was completely unnecessary in the first place, but if it was executed well it could have been fine. Unfortunately it wasn't done well at all. So many aspects that weren't properly considered: Crest gain between different games modes, getting Genesis, having to buy useless sets, characters that were halfway leveled/geared being completely screwed, pot prices etc etc.
