Vanq and above gear should in my opinion be slight base stat improvement *horizontal* but providing primarily gear options.
I have rarely worn full invader on AM/SM over vanq, but still think invader is in a good spot with different item and set bonusses mix.
Edit: same goes for vanq vs sov, it is good that vanq proc is better/decent, it means less pressure to get full sov.
At r80 im missing warlord chest piece, with 90% solo/pug City.
