(though in all honesty I spent 9 hrs yesterday leveling up a dps WP. I need to play an mdps class other than my WH, and since the WL was castrated, declawed and made useless in PUG sc's ... the dps WP is only option).

With all due respect: swapping WL for a DPS WP in the hopes of being useful in any environment (let alone pug sc) is a crazy thing to do. WL is fine; it just isn't a solo powerhouse anymore - which is perfectly fine in a group+ game.

I solo'ed in AoR ... I solo in RoR ...
Solo is where the fun (for me) always has been. Did my part for the realm in AoR for 6 months leading multi wb attacks into IC daily. RoR pugs are too weird for me to try and lead. Solo lake work/PUG SC's are fun

And for the record, I do comparable damage on my WP (rr32) as I do on current WL (rr52) and;
1- I don't have to learn to play the class all over again
2- My dps heals are always double my damage numbers cause I know how to set up my HOTs and my dps to heal my group. Something most dps healers in RoR seem to not know.

It all depends on the class you're playing against.
My Magus can burst down a solo dps WP in a matter of seconds.

2- My dps heals are always double my damage numbers cause I know how to set up my HOTs and my dps to heal my group. Something most dps healers in RoR seem to not know.

Fair play to you, but assuming equal play/gear then a White Lion will do 3 times+ the burst of a DPS WP. If we are talking about damage done in a scenario... (please say we're not)....then you will 'outdamage' a White Lion due to having more AoE 'pressure' via DoTs.

Assuming use of Divine Fury/Fanaticism then using casted heals/hots is usually a waste of RF.

I've to say that they clearly don't shine anymore in the lakes, on the contrary.
May be WL players need some time to adjust to the recent changes and can come up with a bursty spec that was the WL's trademark and so feared by destruction players.

Yeah but this burst was combined with high defense.
It is funny and sad, that some destro still complain about them.

Bullshit WL now easymode "Mara" with Pounce but without fetch and 25%+ dps. It's totally viable now hit harder then WH and have more survivability.
