We cant talk about DPS if we talk about knight. The dmg is nowhere near to IB and SM. If You picked Kobs, You picked utility tank, not dps capable tank, at least it was like that before recent changes. Lets wait till kobs/chosen changes are finished. Right now nobody can say anything because too many changes happening quickly.

Correct. Kobs is there for aoe snare, kb/kd, +crit and +healing. The damage is laughable.
AOE snare is non existent. Its range was reduced from 25 to 15ft and it snare 3ppl total. That tactic does not worth tactic slot for me if tooltip is correct. Kb+KD remains. +crit at least for 2H would be verry hard to apply since its tied to arcing swing which is defendable. You gonna dump your defensive and pump Your strenght and parry thru a lot to be able to pply the 10% crit now.

Since Kobs dmg is nearly non existent, I am not sure if going balls deep in offensive stats only for applying arcing swing is worth for crypling defensive, guard abbility and survivability in warband/large scale in general.

This all depends on where you wanna play it. Warband? Snb. 6 man in SCs/6v6 etc.? 2h. Nothing changed.

2h knight sits at around 500str, you have more than enough to land the Inc crit debuff.

But it still snare max 3 targets including the target you hit right? Am I reading tooltip corectly?

I'm uncertain if the tactic snaring 4 people was ever fixed, but in comparison to certain other aoe snares, kobs is 10 sec duration 5 sec CD, compared to the usual 50% uptime. So you might see why it is so good, and why it was nerfed even.

A lot of time it can’t even snare tank and it’s guardee, so definitely not worth it after the nerf.
